She will be deeply missed by daughter Connie (Bill) Long of Fort Myers, FL, daughter in-law Linda Engels of Lakeland, son Eric (Donna) Engels of Eagan, and step-daughter Caren (David) Stry of Olathe KS. Loving grandma of 11 grandchildren and beloved “GiGi” of 20 great grandchildren. Also survived by dear friends and her family in Norway. A celebration of Irene’s life will be on Saturday, July 12 at 11:00 A.M. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 1400 So. Robert St., W. St. Paul with receiving of friends one hour before Service. Private burial in Balsam Lake, WI.  Memorials preferred to Augustana Lutheran Church or to Neighbors, Inc.
