  Notes	A note in the Vernon County Censor’s 17 Dec 1919 edition noted that Mrs. Albert Ekum and baby are spending a few days at Viroqua where the little one is under the care of a doctor. Graduated from the Ole Torger School in 1933. He lived at home with his parents and siblings in the 1940 census. He was a farm laborer and had been educated through the 8th grade. He was discharged from Fort Sheridan in Illinois in August or early September of 1945. Archie’s obit in the Viroqua paper listed his date of death as October 30th. Was in the service in Birmingham, England, and, apparently, stayed. However, his first child was already under way at that point.
