  Notes	Russell Elliott Mayer, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Tuesday, September 22, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Dukes and husband David of Gay, GA; grandson, Michael Desmond and wife Lisa; granddaughter, Erin Desmond; great grandsons, Aiden and Connor Desmond; and sister, Lavonne Haas and husband, Walter. Mr. Mayer was born on February 18, 1918 in Minneapolis, MN to Frank and May Sanbeau Mayer. He was a member of the American Legion and the DAV. Mr. Mayer was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and per his request, no memorial service will be held. He will finally join his loving wife Georgia who he loved and cherished for so long. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
