  Notes	His younger brother was Clarence “Biggie” Munn, an All-American football player at the U of Minnesota and head coach of Michigan State University. In the 1922 Minneapolis city directory, he was a clerk for Wyman Partridge & Co. He lived with his widowed mother at 2407 Fremont Ave N. Resided at 1814 8th Street in south Minneapolis at the time of his mother-in-law’s death in 1926 and in the 1927 Minneapolis city directory. In the 1936 city directory, he and Eva are back living at his mother’s house, 2407 Fremont. He is an assembler for Ecklund Bros. He and Eva are still living with his mother at 2407 Fremont Ave N in the 1940 city directory. In the 1940 census, Herbert and Eva and Darleen live at 2407 Fremont Avenue N. Herbert worked in the marble tile industry but was then unemployed and looking for work. Eva is a clerk in a department store bakery. Herbert had one year of high school. Eva had an eighth-grade education. Living with the family were Herbert’s mother (shown on the census form as mother-in-law) “Bessie” and his sister (shown on the census form as sister-in-law) Caroline Munn. Caroline was a bookkeeper for a clothing company. In the 1950 census, he and Eva lived at 4605 Oakland in Minneapolis. He was a helper in the varnish division of a paint company. Eva was a machine operator at cloth bag company. In the 1955 Minneapolis city directory, Hub and Eva live at 4605 Oakland. A Jessie Munn, widow of Bert, lives at their old address, 2407 Fremont Avenue N along with Caroline Munn.
