  Notes	In the 1888-1889 La Crosse city directory, Hans Nordrum is a laborer and resides at 412 Jackson. In the 1901-1902 city directory, Hans Nordrum “wks Dr Christensen” and rooms at 119 S Ninth. In the 1910 census, he may be the 52 year-old widower “working out” as a farm laborer in Scranton Twp, Bowman County, North Dakota. La Crosse Tribune, November 25, 1918: Hans Nordrum, a former resident of La Crosse, died at Scranton, N.D., Friday, at the age of 68 years. Surviving are three children, Mrs. O.C. Anderson of Duluth, Gustave J. Nordrum of St. Paul, and Mrs. O.B. Johnson of La Crosse. The body will be brought to La Crosse for burial. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. La Crosse Tribune, November 26, 1918: Funeral services for Hans Nordrum will be at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. O. D. Johnson, 1613, Winnebago Street. Rev. O. H. Myhre will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
