He registered for the draft on September 12, 1918, in Benson, Minnesota. He lists Mrs. Even Ellingboe of Route 3, Murdock, as his nearest relative. His address is also Route 3, Murdock. He is of medium height and build with blue eyes and brown hair. Single and living with his mother in Kerkhoven Twp in the 1920 census. Couldn’t find him in the 1930 census.
