He registered for the draft on September 12, 1918, in Willmar as Ole A. Ellingboe of Route 2, Kerkhoven. He was a farm laborer on his mother’s farm. He was described as short, of medium build, with blue eyes and red hair. Single and living at home in Norway Lake Twp with his mother and siblings in the 1920 census. His death certificate, for which the informant was Mrs. Sam Mortenson of Sunburg, says that Ole never married. He died of coronary sclerosis.
