She married Leonard Nelson of rural Hawley, MN, on September 10, 1938. She was the principal at the Hawley elementary school until she retired in 1973. LouElla was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, Paul, and her brothers, Tyler, Olaf, and Lloyd Soine. She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Nelson (wife DorisAnn), and Donald Nelson (wife Pamela); daughter, Rachel Hollstadt (husband Dennis); sister, Thelma Ross; brother, Glenn Soine; eight grandchildren, and eight great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, Feb. 14, at Rollag Lutheran Church in rural Hawley, MN. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the church and lunch will be served following the service. Arrangements by Dobmeier Funeral Home in Barnesville, MN.
