Johnston, Jr., Hot Springs, AR; sister, Millicent Ellis, Coloma, WI; nephew, William R. Johnston, Neenah, WI; niece, Elizabeth Johnston and husband, Keith Carlson, Portland, OR. Burt was born to William B. & Anna B. (Meyer) Johnston. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Business Administration and was a salesman for Remington Rand and later for Sperry Univac. He was an avid fly fisherman, photographer, musician and woodworker.
