Although Christ’s mother is shown as born in Germany, Clara and Joseph’s mother was born in Norway.
In the 1905 state census, Christopher, 34, is the head of a household consisting of his sisters Clara and Lucy and his cousin Andrew. Christopher is a day laborer, Lucy is a clerk, Andrew is a machinist, and Clara has no occupation.
