  Notes	In the 1895 Minnesota census, he and Carrie and their three children lived in Minnetonka Beach Twp in Hennepin County. He had been a resident of the state and of the local area for 17 years. Came to this country in 1874 and was a naturalized citizen at the time of the 1900 census. According to that census, Elias owned his farm in Minnetonka Twp but with a mortgage. He died from complications of an enlarged prostate. The informant for his death certificate was H. L. Grey of Excelsior.
