Notes |
- In the 1900 census, an Albert Anderson, age 26, born Apr 1874, who was born in Wisconsin and whose parents were born in Norway, was a boarder in the household of Peter and Marthe Larson in Franklin twp.
Albert is not listed as being with his parents and siblings on the home farm in the 1905 state census. Instead, he is shown as a 32 year-old employee living on the David Olson farm in the town of Viroqua.
In the 1920 census, he is probably the Albert A Anderson, 46, living with his wife Mary, 38, at 221 Hickory in Viroqua. He is employed as a laborer at “Sheets.”
He is in the 1930 census as Albert A. Anderson, 58, living in Viroqua at 221 something. His wife is Mary, 49. Albert was first married at age 38 and Mary at age 27 so this may be the first marriage for both. Both of them were born in Wisconsin and both sets of parents were born in Norway. Albert owns the home, worth $3000 and they do not have a radio. His occupation is listed as farm work. No children were living with them. Albert was not a veteran.
Albert A. Anderson, 1872-1939, is buried in the Belgium Ridge Cemetery, Viroqua Twp, with his wife Anna M., 1881-1936.

| Albert Anderson, early teens Albert is the son of Andrew Anderson making him a nephew of Kari Bowe and a cousin of Cora's mother. The original is a relatively small image, about the size of playing card, mounted on heavy board stock. The studio is L.R. Adlington, Star Gallery, Main Street, Viroqua, Wis. On the back, written in pencil, apparently by Cora, is "Albert Anderson." |
