Funeral services were at Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. She was born Oct. 30, 1912, at Thief River Falls, the daughter of George and Elsie (Jerome) Eberhart. She married Andrew Haugen May 28, 1932, at Bagley. They owned and operated a gas station in Bemidji for over 40 years. She was also a foster grandparent for more than 10 years in Bemidji, working with a day care center and the Bemidji School District. She is survived by a son, Terry “Mike” (Karen) Haugen of Bemidji; a daughter, Lee (Edward) Courm of Morrison, Colo.; four granddaughters; four great-grandsons; a sister, Lee Hanson of Hazelcrest, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on March 12, 1971; a sister Peggy Harris; and a grandson.
