  Notes	Her obit in Find A Grave from the Faribault Daily News: Mrs. Mabel Remme, 81, of rural Dennison, passed away on Monday evening, Dec. 11, 1972, at the Cannon Falls Community Hospital. The funeral service was held on Thursday, Dec. 14, at 2:00 p. M., at the Vang Lutheran church, the Rev. Jeno Weisz officiating. Mrs. Julie Egland was the organist. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Obert Remme, Ole Remme, Franklin Thoreson, Clarence Thoreson, Milton Jacobson and Arlie Egland. Mabel Baker was born in Holden township on February 3, 1891, the daughter of Albert and Anne (Homes) Baker. She lived in the Dennison area her entire life and was a life-long member of Vang Lutheran church. Surviving are two sons, Albert and Marlo, both of Dennison; three grandchildren; one step-son, Ferdinand Remme of St. Paul; two step-daughters, Mrs. Philip Finnesgaard (Mabel) of Nerstrand and Mrs. Theresa Miller of St. Paul; two step-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Amy Carlson of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin, in August, 1952; one step-son, Joel, in 1961; her parents and several brothers and a sister.
