Alvin O. Thompson Buried Here
Alvin O. Thompson, age 38, of Great Falls, died at a hospital in that city on last Thursday night following an extended illness. Mr. Thompson was born and raised in Chouteau county and resided here until about three years ago when he moved to Great Falls. He was well known and highly respected by all and his passing will be mourned by a large circle of friends.
He was born at Highwood on Oct. 3, 1903.
He leaves to mourn his death his mother, Mrs. Caroline Thompson, of Great Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Christensen, Longview, Wash.; Mrs. Mae Beals, Portland, Ore.; and Mrs. Helen Weston, Great Falls; and two brothers, Charles W. Thompson, Highwood, and George Thompson, of Great Falls.
Funeral services were held in Great Falls on Monday morning and the body was brought to Fort Benton in the family plot. The relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
