  Notes	Tom Standal She (supposedly) later married John Anderson and was (supposedly) his widow. They had a son Andrew Stiley (1873-1947). In the 1880 census, she is Betsy Anderson, 35, living in Carpenter in Newburg Twp, Mitchell County, Iowa. She is either widowed or divorced. Two children are shown in her household, a daughter Janie, 11, and a son Andrew, 7. Ambiguously, there is a Nils Anderson, 22, “brother-in-law”, listed on the line above Betsy on the census form although, supposedly, he is part of the household listed before Betsy. She died as Berith B. Steile of Carpenter, Iowa. Her daughter was the informant for her death certificate. She died of “apoplexy.” Jennie knew that her mother was born in Vang to Bøye W Steile and Gertrude Quam. Jennie said that her mother was the widow of John Anderson.
