Ray enjoyed coloring and putting together puzzles with his grandson and watching Troll Hunters with his granddaughter. He was a great painter like his inspiration Bob Ross and known to kick butt in a game of cribbage. He loved to play pool and work on cars with his best friend. Ray leaves behind four daughters, Summer (Kelly) Kristianson, Fargo; Raymie Valleen, Fargo; Cyndi Schulz, St. Paul, MN; Sonya Nightingale, Lime Springs, IA; a son, Scott (Brie) Valleen, Burnsville, MN; 10 grandchildren, Jonathan, Kennedy, Rylee, Jason, Jordan, JoAna, Carlyne, Scott, Jenna, and Dominic; brothers, Jerry (Sandy) Valleen; Mark (Kim) Valleen; sister, Sue (Bob) Mundt; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and the woman he has shared the last 8 years with, Nancy Blake. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Nadine and nephew Evan Mundt.
