- Registered for the draft on September 12, 1918, in Minneapolis at 1525 East Franklin Avenue. He lived with his parents (or at least his mother, whom he listed as his nearest relative) at 2712 East Franklin in Minneapolis. Although he signed his name as Hansen, the registrar entered him as Hanson. Conrad’s occupation is shown as “Minneapolis steel machinery.” He is described as of medium height and build with dark blue eyes and red hair.
In the 1920 census he was living at home with his parents. His occupation was “packer boy” for a newspaper.
In the 1930 census he and his family were living at 4727 15th Avenue S. in a house that he owned. Conrad was a dentist and was a veteran of the World War.
His obituary, as Dr. Conrad A. Hansen, was published on p. 15A:3 of the May 19, 1976, edition of the Duluth News-Tribune. That obit noted that he was a retired Minneapolis dentist who had retired to Moose Lake where he died. He was “formerly of Little Marais.”
