He had two daughters with her, Kari, b. 1803 and Ingeborg, b. 1810. Randi died in 1814. By the naming convention, this meant that the first daughter of Engebret’s next wife would be named Randi, which she was. By that same naming convention, Engebret’s mother’s name must have been Kari. Engebret was shown as age 44 in the record of his marriage to Berith Olsdatter. His Vang birth record is for Embert, born or baptized 12 Jul 1772, parents Christen Endresen and Kari Andersdatter. No indication of which farm or which church. Sponsors were Gurie Bræcke, {illegible} Holien, Kari Holien, Anders Elton, and Endre Lunde.
