In the 1865 census, there was an Ole Johanesen, 51, with wife Ragnild Olsdatter, 49, living on Ranisæt. They had a son Ole 22, another son Ole, 18, and a son Johannes, 25, everyone born in Vestre Slidre.
An Ole Olsen Beitho was born in (Øystre) Slidre on 28 May 1844. Another Ole Olsen was born to the same couple on June 22! Both were baptized in Lommen on 8 Sept.
