Reported in the 1900 census as having been born in June of 1892.
In the 1909 Minneapolis city directory, he lives at 2630 13th Avenue S and is a “helper.”
Adolph served in the military because he is shown as “USN” in the 1918 city directory and was living with Charles and Martha. In the 1919 city directory, and the 1920 census, Adolph is a tile setter and living with his brother Henry. In 1921, he’s still a tilesetter but is back home with Charles and Martha. In 1922 and 1923, he is back living with Henry. Adolph may have worked at the Drake Marble and Tile Co. with his other brother Carson.
An article in the 23 Feb 1919 edition of the Tribune says that Adolph, 25, had been a first class gunner on the U.S.S. Cononicus and had been honorable discharged after 8 years in the Navy. The article also mentions that his brothers George, Edwin, and Edgar were still in France in the U.S. Army.
Not listed in the draft registration for WWI.
Called Adolph Palmer Hendrickson in his Texas Death Certificate, for which his brother Carson was the informant. Adolph died at the Houston VA Hospital of a stroke.
