      Karen was born on December 20, 1940 to Lyle and Ruth (Jahnke) Wheeler in Durand, WI. She graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester, MN. Karen married Lyle Rostad.

      Her working career included Key Punch Operator at ABC, International Transport Accounting Department, and Schneider Trucking. She was a member of Autumn Ridge Church.

      Karen is survived by her son, Leslie (April) Rostad; 3 grandchildren, Sonja, Bjorn, and Freyja; and siblings, Gail (Don) Brennan, Gary (Sharon) Wheeler, Peggy (Gary) Anderson, Michael (Linnea) Wheeler, Cynthia Wheeler (Gary Griemann), Timm (Catherine) Wheeler, and Todd (Karen) Wheeler.

      Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Rostad; daughter, Jody (David) Gladson; father, Lyle Graydon Wheeler; mother, Ruth (Jahnke) Wheeler; and siblings, Dennis (Adeline) Wheeler and Diane (John) Dockerty.

      A private Graveside Service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, MN.
