  Notes	Judith Severson, age 74, passed away after an extended illness, May 31, 2016, at the Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe, after spending the last year there. She was born in Green County, January 31, 1942, the daughter of Earl and Leona (Steele) Berget. She attended Porter School, Wiota, graduated from Darlington High in 1959. She married Ernest Hess in 1961, which after two years of marriage, Ernest sadly was involved in a fatal car accident. She married Milfred Severson in 1964. Judy spent time working for Honeywell, Micro Switch, Warren, IL and Louie's Specialty Pudding, Argyle and did child care for several years. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered for her most lovely disposition and inviting friends and family into her home to welcome them with such generosity and joy for a gathering of laughter, food and maybe a card game and looking forward to their visits. She put a lot of love into her homemade bread, pies, and most wonderful homemade meals that everyone craved and looked forward to. She was always lending a helping hand, especially to grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
