  Notes	Jeanne was born January 16, 1925, in Santa Barbara, California to Arthur and Evelyn Hamre Vik. She was the middle child to older brother, Curtis, and little sister, Dorothy. She graduated from Hemet High School in 1942 and attended art school before meeting Harold Clark at her father's grocery store. They married and moved to San Angelo where Harold served in the Army Air Corp. At the end of the war, they moved to Dallas where they raised their five children. Jeanne's greatest passions were her family, gardening and art. She studied art for many years and was a creative artist in many mediums. She was a member of the Southwest Watercolor Society. Jeanne spent many hours outside enjoying her yard. One summer she rescued a baby owl and nursed it back to health, which resulted in Harold's grandfathers name of Hoot. Jeanne, also known as Nanny, by her grandchildren, lived her life with a kind, positive, selfless and non-judgmental outlook. Many of Jeanne's years were spent traveling to spend time with her daughters. She enjoyed helping her daughters decorate, paint, sew, garden, and care for their kids. She had endless energy and never seemed to tire. Her sons-in-laws were especially fond of saying "If you can't get along with Nanny, you can't get along with anyone." Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband and son in law, Larry McBryde. Survived by her children, Bridgie Clark, Leslie Utlaut (Fred) Linda Roberts (Greg), Jan McBryde and Tom Clark. As well as fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
