  Notes	Walter R. Jorgenson, Lt. Col. USA Ret. Passed away Saturday, April 30th, 2005 at the Nazareth House in San Rafael. He was 90. Walter was born March 24, 1915, in Decorah, Iowa, the son of Jorgen Gerhard and Sophie Krogh Jorgenson. Together with his parents he moved to Portland, Oregon, where he lived until joining the Army in 1942. He served more than 20 years in the Army prior to starting his Civil Service career. He retired in 1980. He married Malinda Raso in 1942 who preceded him in death in 1984. In 1996, he married Jeannette Stagg. Survivors include his wife Jeannette, his son, Walt Jorgenson of Manchester, CA, his daughter, Patricia Boutwell of Ponca City, OK, three grandchildren, Domenic Jorgenson of Santa Rosa, CA, Nicole Jorgenson of Petaluma, CA and Jessica Boutwell of Ponca City, OK, and one great- granddaughter, Haley Malinda Jorgenson of Santa Rosa. Casket bearers will be Domenic and Walter Jorgenson Jr.
