  Notes	Pearl J. Hanson, age 90, of Austin, died March 17, 2006 at St. Mark's Lutheran Home in Austin. Pearl was born to Gullick and Emma (Bungum) Spiten on Sept. 13, 1915 in Rock Dell Township, Minn. She grew up in the Rock Dell area and attended country schools. On Sept. 27, 1937, she married Maurice P. Hanson in Grand Meadow, Minn. and they moved to Austin. Pearl worked at Nelson's Grocery Store, Ankeny's Cleaners and did sewing alterations for many people. She belonged to Evanger Lutheran Church in Sargeant and St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, where she was involved in many church activities and clubs. Pearl also belonged to the Sons of Norway and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include daughter, Bonnie (Merrill) Meier, Austin; grand-children Lisa (Mark) St. Peter, Rochester, Minn.; Dave (Steph) Meier, Burnsville; Dan Meier, Minneapolis; grandchildren Jon and Sam St. Peter and Kellie, Jeff and Kim Meier; brother in-law Luther Larson, Hayfield; sisters in-law Laverne Hanson, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Arlouine (Ed) Williams, Issaquah, Wash.; Lucille Hanson, Austin; and Jean Hanson, Austin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
