  Notes	Ove Oveson's letter in 1896 suggests that Marit was still alive at that time but that half-brother Ole had died, childless. Moved to Haugen, Kvam, after marriage to Aslak Kvåle. Marit and her two sons named Ole were witnesses/sponsors at the baptism of her granddaughter Marit Ovesdatter (#258). In the 1900 Norwegian census, she is Marit Olsdatter Kvam, widow, b. 1817, living with her unmarried daughter Marit Aslaksdatter, b. 1842, on the Haugen farm in Vang. Also living with them is Johannes Gullikson, b. 1837, tjenestgut.
