Hazel Mae Oden was born May 21, 1923, the 11th of 12 children, to Johannes and Marit Hegrenes near Thief River Falls MN where she graduated high school and married Robert Oden. Hazel was employed at American Collectors Association. She was an active volunteer donating thousands of hours, especially at her church and at Lutheran Social Services Auxiliary. Hazel is survived by children Marit (John) Kvamme, Linda (Dennis) Ley, Jeff Oden (Nancee Musto) and Lisa (Jerry) Knutson, ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7PM, June 22 at Washburn- McReavy, 5000 W 50th, Edina, visitation continuing one hour prior to the service at church. Services will be 11AM June 24 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 4801 France Ave S, Minneapolis.
