  Notes	From her Find A Grave entry and the Faribault Daily News, November 20, 1962, edition: Mrs. Tosten E. Odegaard passed away at her farm home in Holden Township, Goodhue county, on Wednesday evening, November 14, at the age of 91 years. She was born on Nov. 24, 1870, the daughter of John and Ingeborg Bakken Tasa. She was baptized by the late Rev. B. J. Muus and confirmed by the late Dr. J. N. Kildahl. On June 26, 1902, she was united in marriage to Tosten E. Odegaard by the late Rev. A. Hauge at the Vang Lutheran Church where she was a life-long member. Five children were born to this union, all of whom survive her. They are Esther, Ida and Edwin at home, Alma (Mrs. Tosten Musgjerd) and Thorphin both of Holden Township. She also is survived by seven grandchildren, Sonia Musgjerd (Mrs. Arlyn Gunhus), Obert and Alice Musgjerd and Eric, Lester, Ruth and Rita Odegaard; six great-grandchildren, Christine, Jeffrey, Brian and Randall Gunhus and Catherine and Laurie Ann Musgjerd; two brothers, Gilbert and Albert Tasa and also several nieces and nephews. Her husband preceded her in death in 1950. She was also preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held for Sissel Odegaard on Monday, Nov. 19, at 1:30 p.m. at the farm home in Holden Township and at 2 p.m. at the Vang Lutheran Church with the Rev. B. J. Blikstad officiating at both services. At the church service Mrs. George Langemo sang two vocal selections, "In Heavenly Love Abiding" and "I Know Of A Sleep In Jesus Name" accompanied by Mrs. Cyrus Midge, the church organist. Louis Heggedahl, Peter Langemo, Abraham Bakken, Arthur Estrem, Henry Quamme and Martinus Musgjerd served as pallbearers. Interment took place at the Vang Cemetery.
