  Notes	Funeral services were held Thursday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at the Vang Lutheran Church for Mrs. Caroline Marie Flom, 69, who died at the Northfield City Hospital on Monday, July 9. The Rev. B. J. Blikstad officiated. Mrs. Blikstad was the vocalist, singing "Beyond The Sunset" and "Nearer Still Nearer". Mrs. Cyrus Midje was the organist. The pallbearers were Obert Eggum, Clarence Eggum, Andrew Flom, Lawrence Flom, Orlean Durdahl and Donald Flom. Interment was in the Vang Cemetery. Caroline Marie Flom, the daughter of Peder and Carrie Tufte Eggum, was born in this community March 8, 1890. She was baptized, confirmed and married in the Vang Lutheran Church and was a lifelong member of the Vang congregation. On December 15, 1910, she was united in marriage to Michael N. Flom, who preceded her in death May 3, 1950. She is survived by one daughter, Marcia (Mrs. Herman Braaten) of rural Dennison, and three grandchildren. There are also several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Flom lived her entire life in this community.
