  Notes	According to her birth certificate, she was child #12 born to A.T. and Mary. She was #12 for A.T. She attended school in the Maynard area. She completed normal training in Madison and taught rural school near Maynard. She lived in Minneapolis several years and then moved to Renville where she cared for her mother. She moved to Montevideo in the early 1980s and lived at the Clara City nursing home for a couple of years before her death. She was survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters. Entered twice in the 1930 census as living with her sister Esther Eide as well as her brother George. In the latter, she is not shown as having any occupation. In the 1935 Minneapolis city directory, she is a teacher living at 409 E 18th. In the 1936 Minneapolis city directory, she is a clerk and lives at 409 E 18th. In the 1940 census, she is Agnes Hillman, married but no husband listed, high school graduate, living in Minneapolis at 1711 Portland in a rented apartment with her mother and her brother George. She works 32 hours per week as a helper in a bakery. She made $650 in 1939 and is the household’s principal earner.
