  Notes	Her parents were Brede Jensen and Marie Fredericksdatter. The farm name in her birth record is something like Apelsvold. Martha and her daughter Christine were already in Wang Twp, Renville County, at the time of the 1880 census, as taken on the 14th and 15th of June. They were staying as servants in the home of Knud, age 47, and Gunvor, age 61, Raurson. Included in the household was “son” Nils, age 26. It seems likely that that Nils will become her husband a few months later and that Gunvor is Nils’s mother but Knudt is not Nils’s father. The estimable dwfrench1’s French Family Tree has Martha dying at the home of her daughter Gurina Anderson Thompson on 10 April 1932.
