At the time of the 1930 census, it looks like she was a servant in the John and Hannah Anderson family living at 517 and 1/2 West Fourth Street in Duluth. She is shown as "Carrie T" Johnson, age 18, born in Sweden and both parents born in Sweden. In the 1940 census, she and Gene and Phil live in Minneapolis at 1016 24th Avenue SE. Gene was a sign writer for an ice cream factory. He had four years of high school, she had an eighth-grade education. Shown as Corrine Margaret on her children’s birth certificates. As published in the Minneapolis Star Tribune on December 31, 2006: Mousseau, Corrine M. Mousseau, Corrine M. age 95, of Mpls. Born May 17, 1911 in Brunflo, Sweden and immigrated to the U.S. in 1917. She died at home on Dec. 27, 2006. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene; parents, Jonas & Marta Johnson; brothers, Rudolph and Carl Johnson; and niece, Peggy Lamb. Survived by son, Phil (Sandy) Mousseau; daughter, Bonnie (Wade) Gibbons; grandchildren, Jeannie (Dennis) Krull, Michelle (Keith) Wander, John (Naomi) Mousseau, Andrew (Kristin) Gibbons and Daniel (Addie) Gibbons; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Ellingboe; and various nieces and nephews. Service 1 PM Tuesday, with visitation one hour prior at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S., Richfield. Interment Ft. Snelling.
