An article in the Spokane Chronicle, 23 Mar 1960 edition, said that 47 construction workers from the Crick & Degerstrom company “recently donated their day’s wages to a fund for Wayne Z. Tenney who is recovering from a cancer operation and may face another. Tenney, who lives at Beverly, has a wife and two children.”
