  Notes	His baptismal sponsors were: Ingeborg Knudsdatter Hagen, Knud somebody Tvedt, Ole Olsen Tvedt, Randi Knudsdatter Tveit, and Marit Nielsdatter Rogn. According to his Iowa death certificate, he died from “either cerebral hemorrhage or a thrombosis.” Contributing to his death was high blood pressure. He had a hemiplegia (paralysis of one side of his body). His parents were Lars Moen and Rande Ellingboe, both born in Norway, his wife was Gyda (the informant), he had been a tailor by occupation, and he was to be buried at Sunset Rest on the 22nd. Vang C, p. 39 says that he left for Amerika from Bergen in 1906. He had a son with Ragndi Olsdatter (b. 1886) named Ola in 1904 and another son with Barbro Olsdatter Haugane (b. 1882) named Olav in 1906.
