  Notes	In the 1910 census, he and his family lived on First Street in Northfield. He was a carpenter. He and Ingeborg had been married for 6 years and it was the first marriage for each. In the 1920 census, the couple still lived in Northfield although they now lived on a farm on River Road. Ole’s occupation was now farmer. In the 1940 census, he and Ingeborg lived in a house they owned at 315 Division Street in Northfield. He was basically retired but did odd jobs on a college campus, probably St. Olaf College. He had a 6th grade education, Ingeborg a 4th grade education. The Dalby Database says his parents were Aslak and Inga Aartveit Alexon. He had a younger brother Martin also buried in Northfield City Cemetery. Funeral services for Ole A. Alexon, 93, who passed away at the Fruvog Rest Home, Tuesday, May 17, following a lingering illness were held Saturday at St. John's church. The pastor, the Rev. B. R. Biorn, pastor, officiated at 2 p.m. Burial was made in the Northfield cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmer, Alvin and Roy Elstad, Richard and Donald Alexon and Norman Shaft. Ole A. Alexon was born in the Eidvold community on July 22, 1862 where he grew to manhood. He followed the occupation of a carpenter during his early life time and later as a maintenance man. For the past several years he had been retired. Besides his widow, Mr. Alexon is survived by six children including Rudolph of Northfield; Theodore of Holly Hill, Fla.; Mrs. J. H. Herron (Goldy) of Minneapolis; Mrs. Ted Shaft, (Alma), St. Paul; Mrs. Chris Bock, (Ruth) of Austin and Mrs. Frank Heubel (Alice) of St. Paul. There are also 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild surviving.
