  Notes	St. Olaf, ‘28. History. In the 1930 census, he was single and living with his parents in Dennison. He had no occupation. His birth certificate was amended on June 22, 1964, to add his first and middle names (previous “Babe”). Married in Bethel Lutheran Church, Madison, Wisconsin. In the 1950 census, he and his wife and three children lived in Janesville. His last residence, according to the SSDI, was Nokomis, Sarasota, Florida. A notice of his death in the Northfield News in February of 1974 referred to him as Dr. Myron C. Austinson. He was pastor at the First Lutheran Church in Janesville, Wisconsin, prior to becoming Bishop. His first wife’s obit referred to him as the president of the ALC’s southern Wisconsin district.
