Sandstrom, and sister Connie Engleson precede him in death. His wife Suzy, daughter Heidi (Mark) Larson, granddaughter Haley Larson, brother Daniel (Cari) Sandstrom, sister Cindy Hanson (Michael Coffin), nieces and nephews, and many devoted friends survive him. He had a positive outlook on life, and with his wife, Suzy, dedicated their time to helping others find a path through life's most difficult times. A memorial service was held Feb. 2 in Florida.
