  Notes	He was from Massachusetts where he did newspaper work. He served in the U.S. Army Ambulance Service with the French Army and rose to the rank of Sgt. 1st class. An article in the Flagstaff newspaper of 26 May 1922 notes that he will go to San Francisco to marry Miss Anna Marie Ellingboe on June 11. Wilfred O Lyon died in Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona, on 20 Oct 1925 of tuberculosis. He was a chemist. His death certificate only cites a widow, Mrs. W. O. Lyon. He was born in Connecticut on 2 Jan 1898 to Samuel and Mary (or May) Elizabeth Stafford Lyon. In his will, signed the day before he died, he bequeathed everything he had to his wife, Anna Ellingboe Lyon of Prescott and also named her executrix.
