In the 1910 census, he and his family are still in Isanti County. He is a hostler in a livery stable. In the 1920 census, he and his family live in Sheridan County, Montana, where he is a farmer. Also in the household is his brother-in-law, Louis Berglof, age 36. Erick, Christine, and Louis are all naturalized citizens. He died from a skull fracture. He was riding his bicycle on the Pacific Highway and was struck by an automobile. An Erick S Erickson, who died in 1938, and his wife Christine, 1880-1960, are buried in Greenacres Memorial Park in Whatcom County, Washington.
