      Colleen Avone (Lee) Gunderson, age 88, of Owatonna, passed away unexpectedly in her home November 12, 2017. She was born July 18, 1929 in her grandparent's rural Goodhue County farm to Agnes (Hillestad) and Adolph Lee. She grew up in Skyberg and attended and graduated from Kenyon High School. She worked for many years at Milo Peterson Ford and later drove the Selco Bookmobile out of Owatonna. She loved reading, receiving letters, gardening, flowers, traveling to visit her son and daughter-in-law, as well as travels to Norway with relatives, and her faith was very important to her. Colleen is survived by her four children, Chris Bowen of Norwalk, Iowa, Kevin (Debbie) Estrem of Colorado Springs, CO, Sheila Estrem of Northfield, MN, Julie (Kirk) Johnson of Owatonna; eight grandchildren Carey (Corey) Hansen of Norwalk, Iowa, Cory Bowen, Connie Bowen of Rochester, MN, Angela (Aaron) Anderson of Blooming Prairie, MN, Paula Johnson of Owatonna, Cassi Estrem of Denver, CO, Briehn (Darin) Mays of Minneapolis, MN, Chad Kageyama of Northfield, MN; nine great-grandchildren Lauren, Abigail, Cheyenne, Hannah, Isabelle, Lloyd, Elleana, Callie, Aidan; and two sisters Delores Kirchner and Georgia (Jim) Carlton of Owatonna, MN. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Estrem, second husband, Don Gunderson, her parents, three brothers, and a grandson. The family will be having a private burial service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
