  Notes	In the 1900 census, he was a farmer in Wheeling Twp, Rice County. From the Dalby database: Funeral services for Ole Hellerud, pioneer resident of the Valley Grove community, who died March 5, at the age of nearly eighty-five years, were held at the home of his son, John, and at the Valley Grove church Wednesday afternoon, March 9. The Rev. R. Rosenqvist officiated. Burial was in the cemetery joining the church. Ole Hellerud was born June 24, 1854 at Rock Prairie, Wis., being brought to Minnesota at the age of two years with his parents, John and Margit Hellerud. He was united in Marriage to Helena Hanson in 1881. Eight children were born to this union, of whom, John and Joseph of Nerstrand, Oscar, Marie (Mrs. Oscar Hagen), Hilda (Mrs. Oscar Lockrem) of Dennison, Olive, (Mrs. Nels Monsebrotten) of Fargo, N. D., survive. One brother Helgram Hellerud of Valley Grove. His wife and two children preceded him in death.
