  Notes	In the 1885 Minnesota census, he and Marit lived in Renville County. At home were Ida, Edvart, Elida, and Gilbert. In the 1895 Minnesota census, it was the same. In the 1900 census, he and his family lived in Minneapolis. He had no occcupation. His wife was Marith. Living with them were a step-daughter and a step-granddaughter, Marith Ostrem, 31, and Mary A Ostrem, 3. Ida and the younger Marith were laundresses.
