Division Street and a clothing store at 19 Mill Square. In the 1899 Northfield directory, Martin and John Maurice were both clerks for C. W. Gress & Son so that may be the predecessor business. A Northfield News headline referring to Martin was in the October 6, 1922 edition: “Sold Stores.” John Ellingboe’s occupation is listed as “clothing, 19 Mill Square” in the 1926 Northfield directory and there was also a clothing business called Steele & Ellingboe at 327 S.
