Notes |
- May be the Ole B Ellingboe, cabinetmaker for Ferguson & Richardson in Northfield, living at 429 Division, in the 1899 Northfield city directory.
Probably is the Ole B Ellingboe, wife Minie, salesman, living next door to Annie Ellingboe and Mabel in the 1900 census. Ole’s birthdate is November of 1877 and Minie’s is October of 1870. They had been married for four years with no children.
In the 1902 Faribault city directory, which includes Northfield, he is a cabinetmaker for Lee Furniture Co. He resides at 710 E Water.
His occupation was shown as “Clerk” on Cloyde’s birth certificate.
Ole has a furniture store in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, in the 1910 census.
He registered for the draft on September 12, 1918, in Rusk County where he was the proprietor of a furniture and undertaking business in Ladysmith. His address as well as that of his business was 710 Lake Ave., Ladysmith. He was described as of medium height with stout build, blue eyes and light hair.
He is listed in “The Valdris Book”, a history of the Valdris Samband published in 1920 (available on Google Books), as “Ole Bernhard Ellingboe Northfield Minn.” His entry shows he was a member of the Samband between 1902 and 1910.
He has a furniture store in Ladysmith in the 1920 census.
He was county coronor in the 1920s.
In the 1940 census, he and Esther live in Ladysmith in the same house in which they had lived in 1935. He is the owner and operator of a furniture store. He had an eighth-grade education, she had had one year of college.
He is listed, perhaps with a biography, in a history of Rusk County, Wisconsin, cited by the Wisconsin Genealogy Index.
