  Notes	Rebecca Alma Bratrude, 58, of Omak, WA, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, January 4, 2008, at Central Washington Hospital. She was born April 21, 1949, in Omak to Roy and Barbara Wood. She graduated from Okanogan High School in 1967, and attended Eastern Washington University. She married Douglas Haeberle on August 29, 1969. To this union were born Scott, Kevin and Jennifer. Doug preceded Rebecca in death in 1987. She married Dr. Amos P. Bratrude on October 15, 1990. Rebecca was instrumental in creating and leading a women’s support group known as the PIG Ladies (Positive Image Group), that focused on balancing the physical, intellectual and spiritual aspects of life — she was a mentor to many and happiest when surrounded by family. Rebecca was a member of the Conconully United Methodist Church and the Okanogan County Historical Society. Rebecca’s passing has left a huge void, not only in the family circle, but also in the community. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her husband, Pres of Omak; two sons, Scott (Quinta) Haeberle of Omak and Kevin (Jessie) Haeberle of Spokane; daughter, Jennifer Haeberle of Omak; sister, Sharon (Jack) Dunlevy of Bend, OR; three brothers, Jim (Maxine) Wood, David (Sonya) Wood and Mark (Dee) Wood, all of Okanogan. She is also survived by her husband’s children, Kristie (Mike) Neff of Wenatchee, Ted (Johnnie) Bratrude of Seattle, Bruce (Kate) Bratrude of Wenatchee and Paul (Katherine) Bratrude of Dublin, CA; and twelve grandchildren, Brandi Bratrude, Jessie Bratrude, Jenna Neff, Melanie Neff, Ashley Bratrude, Courtney Bratrude, Jake Bratrude, Karlie Neff, Paiton Haeberle, Emma Haeberle, Jax Haeberle, Bella Haeberle; and countless friends. Husband, Doug; mother, Barbara; father, Roy; and sister, Beverley preceded her in death.
