  Notes	Ellen Mae Skogstad went peaceably to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017. She was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Lewiston, to Charles and Rose McNutt. Ellen graduated from Kettle Falls, Wash., in 1942. Later she moved to Seattle. She graduated from The Seattle Bible Institute, and she met and married her husband, Obert, in 1946. In 1951, they moved to Lapwai and pastored the Assembly of God Church until moving to Clarkston in 1961. Together, they would minister in various churches in the surrounding area. They also ministered in scripture and song at the Clarkston jail and local nursing homes. Ellen was known for her beautiful singing voice, and she loved to tell God every day how thankful she was for everything. She had a quick wit and was steadfast in character. Ellen was noble and her spirit emanated unconditional love. She retired from Blount in 1989. Ellen is survived by her children as well as eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed every chapter of her life and was loved by all. She will be missed. A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Vineland Cemetery. Greg Pedersen of House of Faith will officiate.
