His occupation had been caretaker for the Masonic Temple. He died of cerebral apoplexy. In the 1900 census, he was a furniture merchant in Coeur d’Alene. In the 1910 census, he was an undertaker. In a 1914 jury list for Kootenai County, Idaho, he was T E Hedal of Kootenai precinct.
