Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran church for Edward W. Seefluth, 345 Simonis Street, long associated with the cement business, who died at St. Michael's hospital last Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Seefluth, who would have been 66 years old later this month, had been a hospital patient for about a week and was ill at his home for about two weeks previously. Before that time, he was active and conducted his business, the Stevens Point Concrete company at 210 Patch Street, of which he was proprietor.
A native of Milwaukee, he was born Sept. 24, 1887, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Seefluth. When he was about 10 years old, he moved with his parents to Manitowoc, where he grew to young manhood. When he was in his 20s, he returned to Milwaukee.
On Nov. 1, 1911, he was married at Milwaukee to the former Olga Finkelson, who survives.
