  Notes	Hjalmer Waldemar Sybilrud was born 29 January 1894 in New Richland, Minnesota, the sixth of eight children born to Edward Johan Sybilrud (1851-1940) & Rangdi Burtness Sybilrud (1861-1941), both Norwegian immigrants. He was first married to Bertha Kvale (1893-1977). He was a physician. He and his wife & two daughters lived in Bricelyn, MN for many years. They were divorced in 1940. He was later married to Blanche Barbara Swanson (1902-1989) on 10 November 1968 in McAllen, TX. He died on 2 October 1976 in McAllen, TX at the age of 82. He died from cardiovascular disease and the complications of Parkinson’s Disease. He was a veteran of both world wars.
